Property Maintenance Roundup July 2020 Back

Date published: July 31, 2020

In a Quiet Month, Hankinson Has Been Busy

Understandably, July was a quiet month for property maintenance as the coronavirus lockdown took its toll in the UK. But this doesn’t mean we sat on our thumbs at Hankinson. Indeed, we’ve completed some protective coating work in a Liverpool school, become deeply involved in ‘The Road Map to Recovery’ for the construction industry, and won several contracts.

We’re seeking subcontractors as we expand, and we’ve joined forces with the Building Safety Group to improve our health and safety even further. As if this wasn’t enough in a quiet month, we’ve also taken on a new member of staff to focus on developing business in the Social Housing and Refurbishment sector.

We’re joining forces with The Building Safety Group

We’re excited to announce that we’ve appointed The Building Safety Group as our advisors and auditors. This alliance provides an additional level of comfort to our clients, ensuring that we meet all our health and safety regulations.

The construction sector sets out its road map to recovery

It’s been a tough period for the construction industry, but we’ve all pulled together to fight our way through. Learn how Hankinson has played our part in producing the Road Map to Recovery, and the amazing support that Build UK and the  Construction Leadership Council has provided.

Another major contract is awarded to Hankinson

Our Protective Coatings division has been awarded a major contract as the principal contractor on the Valley Bridge project. As well as protective coatings the works that are included are scaffold, containment, re-instalment of pigeon netting, steel repairs, and traffic management. We look forward to working as the one-stop solution preferred by North Yorkshire County Council.

Hankinson buck the trend and expand – call for subcontractors

In an economy that many predict is going to crash and burn, Hankinson is bucking the trend. We’re winning more major contracts and seeking to expand. Our latest call is for sub-contract painters in the Hampshire area.
